Breeding, Showing and Training PRE Andalusian and Andalusian Cross Horses
Espartano MF
Espartano MF is a PRE (Pura Raza Espanol) stallion.  He stands 16 hands and was foaled in 1996.  He was bred by Marro Farms in Alberta and was imported to the U.S. in 1999.

After being bought by Shannon Gillette, Espartano (Espy), was taken to his first show and placed well in his halter classes.  After only 30 days under saddle he was taken to the Regional show in Albuquerque, NM and qualified for the IALHA Nationals in halter, huntseat, country pleasure, dressage suitability, show hack, western and doma vaquero.  He proceeded to place Top 5 in all of the classes he was shown in at the National show.  Since that time he has earned many more Top 5 awards as well as National Champion and Reserve National Champion awards.

Espy has gone on to compete in open dressage through 3rd level.  He has also been successful in Horse Trials at Novice level.  He now is used for breeding, exhibitions, parades and is our most popular lesson horse as well.  His latest job will be in the arena as an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy horse.

Espy is an all-around horse that is a pleasure to be around and ride.  He passes these qualities on to his foals and makes wonderful babies.

Pictured below is Seda, a 7 year old Azteca mare.  I am hoping to offer embryo transfer from her and Espartano.  Please call for more information or to come out and meet her!

Emara is a 3 year old filly by Espartano out of a purebred Arabian mare.  She is proudly owned by Carl Saunders of Cottonwood, AZ.  Look for Emara in the 2009 show season.
